EUR futures: further consolidation likely
In light of CME Group’s preliminary data for EUR futures markets, open interest dropped by nearly 1.8K contracts on Wednesday vs. Tuesday’s 446,502 contracts. On the other hand, volume retreated by around 46.6K contracts.
EUR/USD supported in the mid-1.1500s
EUR/USD continues to extend its sideline theme around the 1.1600 handle amidst a renewed softer tone in the greenback and lack of relevant events in both the Euroland and the US.
Support emerges around recent lows in the mid-1.1500s, while rallies are seen struggling around the 1.1660 region (neckline)
