NZ Finance Minister plays down housing market risk to financial stability

As per Bloomberg report, New Zealand Finance Minister English, while speaking in parliament, said the housing market is not a threat to the financial stability and cheered the Reserve Bank of New Zealand for managing the financial stability risks well.

Last month, ANZ, New Zealand's biggest residential mortgage lender, warned of an "outright house price fall”.
