EUR/AUD falls to 15-month low, AUD/USD rallies
FXStreet (Córdoba) - As part of the ECB aftermath, EUR/AUD lost more than 200 pips and hit its lowest level since June 2013, fueling AUD/USD gains.
EUR/AUD pierced through several support levels, including the 100-week SMA, and bottomed out at a 15-month low of 1.3843 before recovering slightly. At time of writing, EUR/AUD is trading at 1.3875, recording a 1.35% loss on the day.
AUD/USD reaches 5-week high
Meanwhile, AUD/USD benefited from the move, and rallied to a 5-week high of 0.9391 before stalling just shy of the 0.94 mark. At time of writing, the Aussie is trading at 0.9380, 0.39% above its opening price.
